2. Platform Purpose

3. User Accounts
To create a fundraiser or donate, users must:
Provide accurate personal information
Maintain one account per person
Keep login credentials confidential
FundLegalAid may suspend accounts for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
4. Fundraiser Requirements
Fundraisers must:
Be truthful, accurate, and transparent
Be related to legitimate legal needs only
Not mislead donors or exaggerate facts
Update supporters regularly if possible
Use the funds only for the stated legal purpose
Unapproved or deceptive fundraisers will be removed.
5. Verification & Documentation
FundLegalAid may request:
Government-issued ID
Legal documents
Lawyer confirmation
Additional evidence or proof
Fake or altered documents lead to:
Immediate removal
Account termination
Donation refunds
Reporting to authorities
Zero tolerance for fraud.
6. Donation Processing
Donations are voluntary and non-contractual
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
FundLegalAid does not store full payment information
Some donations may be held for review, verification, or fraud checks
FundLegalAid is not responsible for:
Donor decisions
Legal outcomes
Lawyer performance
Fundraiser misuse after withdrawal
7. Fund Withdrawal
Funds may be released:
To the fundraiser
To the lawyer directly (when applicable)
In milestones, depending on verification
Withdrawal may be delayed or blocked if:
Fraud is suspected
Documents are incomplete
Donors raise concerns
Legal authorities request a hold
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
Post fake or misleading stories
Impersonate others
Create fundraisers for illegal activity
Use multiple accounts to manipulate donations
Abuse, threaten, or harass donors or fundraisers
Upload harmful content or documents
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the platform
Violations may result in immediate account termination.
9. Refund Policy
Donations may be refunded only if:
Fraud or misuse is confirmed
Fundraiser violates platform rules
Payment was made by mistake and reported promptly
Fundraiser is removed before withdrawal
Refunds depend on payment provider policies.
10. Donor Protection
Donors may choose to donate:
Publicly
Anonymously
Donor details will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
FundLegalAid is not responsible for:
Accuracy of fundraiser details
Actions of users
Legal results or case outcomes
Loss of funds due to user misuse
Issues caused by third-party payment processors
Use the platform at your own risk.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, text, icons, and graphics on FundLegalAid are the property of the platform and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
13. Termination
FundLegalAid may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for:
Fraud
Abuse
Violations of Terms
Security threats
False information
All decisions are final.
14. Changes to Terms
FundLegalAid may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
